“We used an open mic technique where the band had to play to the volume of Jeremy’s voice and guitar without monitors for sound reinforcement. The result is one of the most beautiful recordings I have ever been a part of.
When I walked into the barn and shouted, and listened to the way the sound resonated off the dirt floor and the old wooden siding, I had a feeling something amazing was going to be captured. The light was perfect, the day was perfect, the band was in good spirits, the song was great, we had someone with an amazing eye looking through a camera…all we had to do was get out of the way of what was about to happen, and that was exactly what we did.”
